Coming alongside parents

Parenting is an important job. You want to get it right, and we want to help! Our goal is to partner with you for the spiritual growth of your children.

We serve families and kids through providing safe spaces, loving care, and memorable teaching about who God is. We welcome children six weeks old through fifth grade. Our environments are adaptable for all, regardless of development or ability, through the use of sensory tools and a calm room as needed.

Our greatest hope is that what we teach on Sundays and Wednesdays encourages you to keep the conversation going at home and gives you helpful resources to nurture your child's faith.

the kids hall

Sunday Mornings: 9 AM & 11 AM

Wednesday Nights: 6:30 PM

Doors to the hall open 20 minutes before each service.

What to expect:

  • A safe, fun environment for children 6 wks to 5th grade.
  •  For your child to learn the good news about Jesus in an age-appropriate way.
In our infants through five-year-olds environment, we learn our three big truths in hands-on, experiential ways:
1. God made me.
2. God loves me.
3. Jesus wants to be my friend forever.
We bring the fun to create strong memories with our kindergarten-5th grade students as we learn these three truths:
1. God loves me.
2. I can trust God no matter what.
3. I should love others the way Jesus loves me.

Kids ministries FAQ

What are your safety policies?
  • Each new volunteer with Bridge Kids must apply, provide references, and meet with a staff member before beginning to serve. If they are over the age of 18, they must also pass a background check. No one 18 or older who does not have a background check is permitted on the hallway during hours of service, except children's family members who are overseen by a member of the Bridge Kids Leadership Team.
  • We avoid leaving any volunteer or leadership team member one-on-one with a child in an area that is not easily seen. A second volunteer is always present during diaper changes or when helping a young child use the toilet. Each classroom is also equipped with security cameras.
  • The bathrooms on the kids' hallway are for kids only; volunteers must use a separate bathroom.
  • Members of the church-wide safety team monitor the kids' hallway throughout service, ensuring all entrances and exits are secure, and offering assistance in case of an emergency.
  • Each classroom is governed by a safe ratio of children to adults to make sure that the rooms are not overcrowded, or that a volunteer is not responsible for more children than he or she can safely care for. You can find out more about our ratios and how classrooms are divided here.
Can I tour the kids' hall before deciding to check in my child(ren)?
Tours can be provided upon request by a member of the Bridge Kids Leadership Team or a check-in volunteer. It is best to arrive early and request a tour before the doors of the kids' hallway open 20 minutes prior to service, or directly after service once kids have been picked up.
Can my children go into the same class if they're different ages?
A first-time guest may go to the classroom of their sibling or friend. Otherwise, we ask that parents drop their children off in the appropriate classroom by age or grade. Doing so helps us maintain safe, effective learning environments. Separating siblings may be stressful at first, but we find that most children adapt quickly. If either child becomes too distressed, the leadership team will evaluate the situation and provide assistance.
If my child is not comfortable, can I stay with them during service?
We allow parents a one-time pass to stay with their child in either of these scenarios: the child is not comfortable staying alone, or the classroom was at ratio and the parent would not have otherwise been able to drop off their child.
